Alma is a former public school educator who now works for the Seattle Aquarium as both a Beach Naturalist and Salmon Naturalist. When Alma is not teaching or nature journaling, she’s out hiking in the woods with her spouse and Border Collie mix, Kiku.

Nature Journaling leverages the benefits of both time spent connecting with nature and engaging in creativity. This workshop will cover easy ways for beginners to get started as well as offer a variety of approaches that even more experienced nature journal keepers can draw on to broaden their practice.
