Nina Vichayapai is an artist whose work explores themes of rootedness and place. Her art practice combines her matrilineally inherited textile practice along with an eclectic variety of other mediums such as printmaking, zine-making, gardening, flyering, and more. 

Her work can be found in local museums, galleries, gardens, on sign posts, and in other secret spots. Born in Thailand, she is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts degree in Art and Social Practice at Portland State University and graduated from the California College of Arts in 2017.

Seed Paper Making

Saturday, August 2 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM

Learn how to make eco-friendly seed paper! Made out of biodegradable materials and native wildflower seeds, seed paper can be planted to grow into wild flowers. Each participant will take home several sheets of seed paper which will be ready to plant once dry.
