Workshops
Make Your Own Junk Journal
Friday, August 1 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM
Using thrifted books that would otherwise likely be discarded, we’ll create our own mixed media journals. We will use the existing imagery and text – as well as creating our own pages by following a series of prompts. It’s a fun and freeing way to approach art journaling.
Oh Go Terrazzo Yourself
Saturday, August 2 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM
You’ve seen terrazzo trays out and about in the world. They’re normally a sold color base with all kinds of tiny colorful chips inside. In this class we will be making our own chips to use in our terrazzo pieces.
Beginner Punch Needle
Saturday, August 2 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM
Learn how to punch needle so you can create your own coasters, pillows, bags & rugs. Students will learn the basic aspects of punch needle and will master three different types of stitches.
