Sherry Koyama

Sherry Koyama is the founder and designer of women’s clothing and accessory line, Harumi K. She has degrees in art and psychology, and a certificate in patternmaking and fashion design from Apparel Arts in San Francisco. 

She enjoys hiking, working out, baking, and serves on the Board of Directors with Dress for Success Seattle. Originally from California, she now lives in Seattle, Washington with her husband and two cats.

Sashiko Tea Towels

Saturday, August 2 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM Learn the history and basics of Japanese sashiko stitching and apply it to embellish a tea towel. You will learn how to work with sashiko needles and thread and sew a running stitch. Each participant will take home a set of sashiko needles, thread, and tea towel.
