Vivien Wise
Vivien is a fiber artist living in the Pacific Northwest. She received an MFA in Fibers and Material Studies from the Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia in 2020, and a BFA in Fibers from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2014. Originally from Chicago, she is an avid quilter, bicyclist, and lover of breakfast. In her art practice, she centers materiality, community, and environment.
Vivien has taught workshops at The Works Seattle, Sew Expo, Chicago Public Library, Vox Populi Gallery, Fabric Workshop and Museum, Tyler School of Art, and Baltimore County Community College, among others.
